However, what about when one commits a good deed, only for it to result in something evil? If one commits a good action that has a negative result, is that action evil? For example, after Hurricane Katrina there were numerous charity projects, aka phishing scams. If someone donated money to one of these scams, thinking they were helping hurricane victims, they would be doing a good deed. However, in reality they were being robbed of their money, which would likely then be used in an evil way. This example illustrates that a good action that results in evil is not itself evil. The individual still committed a good deed because he was inspired by his love
