Kobe Bean Bryant is an American professional basketball player who wows people with his extraordinary skills on the court. Kobe Bryant is an exciting player to watch on the court and teaches others with his spectacular moves. Overall, Bryant is an exceptional basketball player. Ever since Kobe Bryant was little, he played this game and loved it. He looked up to many NBA players hoping that one day he will become one of them. Kobe Bryant was born on August 23, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Joe Bryant and Pam Bryant were Kobe's parents. Kobe was named after a steak when his parents went to the restaurant. Kobe Bryant's father, Joe (Jellybean) Bryant, also played in the NBA. Joe Bryant inspired Kobe to play basketball. When Kobe was little he always watched his father play on TV. He would watch other superstars play like his favorite Magic Johnson. Kobe's father, Joe, played eight seasons for the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers, San Diego Clippers and Houston Rockets. After one season with Houston Joe and his family packed their bags and moved to Italy to continue Kobe's career. Kobe was still very young when the family moved and Kobe and his brothers had to learn a new language. Kobe and his two other brothers practiced how to speak Italian right after school. Kobe would also go to his father's practices and watch him play, then immediately after he would shoot baskets and try to copy his father's moves. Living in Italy was different for Kobe. It was difficult for Kobe to start a basketball game with another child because almost all the children played football. Many children showed up on the field to play soccer because the goalposts were right under the basketball hoops. Kobe played with all the kids until they were done and then stayed... halfway through the paper... made money but was defeated in the first round. Kobe asked for a trade on a radio broadcast but later that day said he wanted to be a Laker for the rest of his career. Kobe throughout the year was declared as one of the best players in the NBA. In conclusion, Kobe Bryant has successfully achieved his dream by becoming one of the best players in the NBA. He watched his father play basketball since he was a child and as he grew up he really enjoyed playing it. Playing in high school, he dominated the game. Kobe impressed people with his incredible skills. Kobe decided he wanted to go straight to the NBA instead of collage and people doubted him, but then he made people think differently about him by showing them what he could do on the court. Kobe is an incredible basketball player who worked hard to achieve his goal and hopefully will later become a member of the Hall of Fame.
