Community-elected homeowners association officials are constantly involved in complex decisions regarding the condition, safety and well-being of our small community property and in solving community problems. An effective way to solve the problems faced by Deer Crossing homeowners is to conduct a community needs assessment in an effort to provide feedback to the community's elected officials. Typically, the Deer Crossing Homeowners' Association board meets once a quarter to resolve community issues and disputes that have arisen in recent months, but it has never organized a separate board to conduct surveys to gain better insight into other homeowners houses. Without this necessary understanding, decisions are made without some of the homeowners' knowledge or input. This is mainly due to the lack of interested citizens in the association. The assessment on the following pages identifies issues that have occurred, involving non-compliance, disputes and community involvement, without any real action being taken to gather or interpret information and implement guidance on some of the local community agenda items that occur. Defaults to Homeowners Association is one of the main topics, this is always the main agenda and how United Properties Associates will raise the necessary funds that people do not pay. The following data was derived from multiple resources, such as area demographics, solicitation of comments from council members, and review of annual budgets. The cost of living index is 85.1, lower than the US national average of 100, so it is relatively less expensive in the area than other regions of Virginia. The estimated median household income is $64,405 and is higher than the Virginia average by... middle of paper... future project funds required in the area.
