My favorite TV show that I like to sit down and watch at the end of a long day is Reba. I can't wait to relax in front of the TV and watch the witty thirty-minute episodes. This show gives me the perfect comedic relief at the time of day when I need it most. The show features Reba as a single, divorced mother with three children, a son-in-law, and a grandchild all living under her. roof. Her ex-husband, Brock, and his younger and somewhat dirtier new wife, Barbra Jean, also live nearby and constantly arrive unexpectedly. Reba has a very strong and independent personality. He seems to approach his issues with Brock and Barbra Jean with sarcasm and his children with love and understanding. The show begins with Reba and her family in therapy trying to resolve issues regarding Reba's husband, Brock, a dentist, who is having an affair. resulting in his dental hygienist becoming pregnant. During this session Reba also discovers that her beautiful and popular 17-year-old daughter, Cheyenne, is pregnant by her boyfriend and star football team, Van Montgomery. During this time Reba finds the strength to care for her family and make decisions in difficult circumstances. He allows Cheyenne to marry and reluctantly accepts Barbra Jean into his life for the sake of his children. Most people would consider Brock to be a man going through a midlife crisis. He remarries a younger blonde, goes to a tanning salon, and even gets his teeth whitened. Although he is busy with Barbra Jean, Brock still goes to Reba for advice. He sometimes seems sorry for his past mistakes and even struggles with depression. Brock is a good father to his children and continues to play an important role in ...... middle of paper ...... and asks a lot of questions. The show's theme song is one of Reba McEntire's biggest hits "I'm a Survivor." Reba is “A single mom who works too hard, loves her kids and never stops, with gentle hands and the heart of a fighter.” He accepts and adapts to changes in his life as we all do from time to time. It's a good example of keeping your family close and doing what's best for your loved ones even if the scenario isn't ideal. I really enjoy watching the characters on this TV show deal with the challenges they face. Each character has a different personality and role in the family dynamic. There are many storylines that families can relate to in the episodes. The characters deal with everyday situations such as child discipline, sibling relationships, religion, and marriage issues. In the end, they always communicate and find a solution.
