Community health is the study and development of health in diverse communities. Community health tends to focus on areas including primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare. It is also linked to policies and a wide range of health services that aim to prevent disease, promote health and rehabilitate the community. This is dedicated to individuals belonging to a local community and also to the characteristics of this community and its environment. With this community health nursing can be explained as a practice of caring for the family from the child up to the elderly on how to live a healthy and productive life, providing continuous service ensuring that the physical and mental state of all individuals is good and is also not subject to chronic or risky diseases. Community nurses are not limited to caring for a particular age or diagnostic group. The contribution of all health care clients is encouraged to develop community activities that contribute to the promotion, education and maintenance of good health. These activities require comprehensive health programs that pay particular attention to socio-ecological controls and specific populations at risk. Community health nurses are valued for their ability to adapt and provide care in many ways, including community health clinics, churches, homeless shelters and schools. Their role is to provide comprehensive care to patients in their homes, at organized events such as health fairs, and at agencies and institutions serving people who have special healthcare needs. They also lead or work together with other health professionals, organizations, political figures, and community members to promote health in their community. They develop and apply corporate… mid-document… community involvement and knowledge of the entire population with a personal clinical understanding of the health and illness experiences of individuals and families within the population. Community and public health nurses focus on the avoidance of disease, injury or disability, on sponsoring health and maintaining the health of populations, work with communities, aim for health promotion and disease prevention, act as teachers, counselors and play a vital role in preventing widespread disease and illness. They also support, protect and maintain the health of populations through the provision of personal health services to individuals, families and advocate for the community as a whole. In rural and low-income communities, these nurses also provide important health services. They are able to distinguish and respond to potential health crises.
