Grenada is a country located in the middle of the Caribbean and is made up of three separate islands, Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The small town is only twice the size of Washington DC, the largest city has only 40,000 inhabitants. Grenada is known for its surfing due to its lush, tropical climate, and since it's in the Caribbean it also rains a lot. The rainy season lasts from June to December with the peak in November. People living in Grenada mostly speak English, but it is their version, for example for them “one time” means “at the same time” and “if” means “what”. The people of Grenada are very formal and friendly. Women wear skirts and nice t-shirts unless they are at the beach, while men wear shorts and nice t-shirts. 53% of the people living in Grenada are Catholic and the culture is heavily influenced by the Rastafarian movement.
