In the book Business for the Glory of God: The Bible's Teachings on the Moral Goodness of Business by author Dr. Wayne Grudem, discusses different views on the mutual relationship in a business context. Dr. Grudem provides eleven business activities that give us the opportunity to glorify God and follow the Bible as a reference for how we should connect our Scripture readings to our daily work lives. They are (1) Properties; (2) Productivity; (3) Employment; (4) Commercial transactions (purchase and sale); (5) Profit; (6) Money; (7) Inequality of goods; (8) Competition; (9) Loans and borrowings; (10) Attitudes of the heart; and (11) Effect on world poverty (Grudem, 2003). There are “two introductory points” that Dr. Grudem wants us to consider. These are "imitation of God" and "moral wrongs or sins".
