Unfortunately, we are not emphasizing preventing diseases before they occur and that is why Americans are not healthier than other people in other countries. It is difficult to define quality in a system that does not prioritize patient health. Quality was not taken seriously (Al Rashdi, 2011). Providers fear that if they don't test their patients they could get a lawsuit and that's just the beginning of a bad practice. There is no trust. Cost is completely involved in this because of what was mentioned before. Doctors also care about production, not the patient himself. Obamacare has made changes to laws related to health care quality, but with the new president on board this is clearly a mystery and the future is uncertain as to what will happen to health care
