One thing the poet uses to prove his point with imagery is the use of time. In the poem it states, “And time should bubble,” which illustrates that time will continue after death. Dickinson also uses personification to give viewers a better perspective on death. Furthermore, the poet uses words such as “bubble, burn, go bustling, and one might wander at will from the business below,” they could refer to a loved one who has passed away. Therefore, the poet tries to tell the audience that it is okay to move on and love someone again. “It is sweet to know that stocks will stand, when we lie with daisies, that trade will continue,” is a saying from the poem that makes the speaker feel better that once they die, nature will die too. On the other hand, the narrator is worried about dying and leaving things behind. The poem ends with this amazing line “lead the pleasant scene” to make it clear that death is a pleasant thing to encounter as it is the way of life. The poet considers death as a process of life that makes it easier to do so
