The names are Fluid Intelligence and Crystallized Intelligence. In chapter seven, intelligence is defined as the ability to understand the world, think rationally, and utilize resources when faced with challenges. When it comes to intelligence, Gardner's theory is one of the most popular theories in the world. Gardner suggests that each individual has their own type of intelligence and that it is available in different degrees and not just one. Returning to Chapter 7, fluid intelligence is defined as reflecting information processing, reasoning, and memory abilities. We tend to use our fluid intelligence more when trying to solve a problem. For example, when I try to connect a day in my life to when I am using my Fluid Intelligence, I think back to all the math lessons I have taken in my studies and also to my life outside of school. When trying to remember an equation in mathematics or when we try to remember a simple memory from the past, we try to use the fastest possible way to remember how to do it and this means that we are using our fluid
