I started long before I was born. I was created by the love of my parents, John and Linda Szuminsky. My parents fell in love when they were just 17 and 18 years old. In those early days they struggled to build their own towing and collision shop business. They worked long hours but always wanted to have a family too, they tried and waited many years for this miracle to happen for them. Finally in early 1999 they found out they were finally having a baby! Since my parents owned a towing business, my mother drove a tow truck to go everywhere. While my parents waited for the doctor to confirm that my mother was pregnant, my father was so sure that she was that he went out and bought my mother a new car, so she didn't have to jump on the tow truck while she was pregnant. Now my father had a theory that because he all had brothers and my mother all had brothers, he was certain that they would definitely have a boy. He was so sure that he even told my mother that we have a girl, you can give her a name, but if we have a boy I can give him a name. My mother was much wiser so she agreed. Then the day came when they went for an ultrasound. The technician looks at my parents and asks if they would like to know the sex of the baby. My parents obviously wanted to know. Then the technician twirled his tool and looked at the screen, then at my parents and announced “you're having a girl!” My father looked in disbelief and asked "Are you sure?" The technician said yes, I'm 97% sure! The technician left the room and the doctor entered. My dad said you know what the technician just told me, he said we were having a little girl. The doctor said yes, congratulations, then my dad asked the doctor to take a look and get a c... middle of paper...... I don't remember much about kindergarten other than I had fun at play and went 3 days a week. For Thanksgiving that year we went to visit my father's aunt and uncle who lived in Ormond by the Sea, Florida. We had fun on the beach and while we were there, we went back to Disney World for a day to use the day passes we had left over from when we went before. I remember that I really loved music and even had my own drum kit and a piano with a microphone! My favorite song to sing was the alphabet song. My dad worked a lot during the week, so we spent quality time together on the weekend. During these times we took trips in his tow truck, went out for breakfast and even went horseback riding. One time I remember ordering oatmeal for breakfast and then when my order came out I told my dad I didn't really like oatmeal so he let me order something else.
