It is important to teach younger generations to communicate using visual literacy. The use of visual literacy is improving the way they learn by making them able to interpret images. The younger generation mostly stays glued to the television and all the shows have a message to carry forward. With proper assistance and teaching, they may be able to know how to highlight visual literacy while watching a television program. They understand the scene just by knowing that it is funny by seeing one of the characters fall, laugh or do something wrong. “The teaching of English must be divided into three main strands: language study, literature development and literacy study.
