In the Old Testament it teaches that demons are enemies of God and have no powers. Jesus has disarmed them and they have no authority. “You are from God, children, and you have overcome them; for he who is in you is greater than he who is of the world” (1 Peter 4:4). (118 words) Practical Application of Demons Demons exist and walk the earth trying to destroy the children of God. And as followers of Jesus Christ we must keep in mind that Satan is here and his purpose is to capture the weak. “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:10-8, KJV). As children of God we know that Satan exists. According to Etzel, Satan will not stop trying to attack God's believers in order to be able to claim that before God his believers are not worthy of his grace (2015) (206). (words 106)
