In the modern world many people move to a new country and experience different lifestyles. Cultural assimilation is the process by which the language and culture of one person or group comes to resemble those of another group. The term is used to refer to both individuals and groups, and in the latter case, it can refer to both immigrant and native residents who end up being culturally dominated by another society (Crispino 250). Individuals assimilate into a new culture by following common traditions, beliefs, and daily lifestyles. People assimilate to new cultures as they learn about the culture's traditions and general lifestyles, including holidays and food choices. For example, when we see a white family cooking Mexican food in After I finished traveling and having fun in one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco, I had to go back and stay for 15 days in our house that we still own in Casablanca. The fifteen days I spent there passed very slowly, I was very bored. There was nothing to do and the same people I saw every day were in the same place and discussing the same things; all this is due to the lack of job opportunities. In short, it's a different lifestyle than I used to live in America; I went to school all day and played sports at school, came home or did homework or worked. I always kept myself busy. However, this made me relax and think: has reality changed or have I changed because while I consider myself fifty-five years old, on my last visit I realized the opposite: I was the one who changed, but have I changed? for better or for worse? I don't think adding another language and culture to my life or becoming a person with a busy life is a bad thing
