Consistently, playing violent games can cause someone to do things out of the ordinary and make them misunderstand the real danger of imitating the game's action. They begin to believe that they can be what they portray and suffer no consequences, no matter how horrible their actions may be. Video games constantly promote violence to get the attention of kids who don't think about how they will understand the images and messages the game sends to its audience. We need to make these children understand that it's not the game or the console, but the amount of violence that is in the game. If they could space out the number of hours or play a non-violent game, it shouldn't have the same effect on them if they only play violent games. My conclusion is that today's video games are outrageous and violent. No matter how much our society tries to control who gets the age-appropriate video game, it still ends up in the hands of young children. We should do our best to make them understand that it is okay to play this type of game, but it is in their best interest to wait until they understand the
