Generation Me, or often called millennials, are controversially the generation born from 1980 to 2000. Most older generations call these young people lazy, superficial, selfish, and obsessed with fame. However, some people have different perspectives on them and call these millennials creative, optimistic, open-minded and efficient. This controversy has caused numerous searches by professors and others regarding "Generation Me". However, each generation has its strengths and weaknesses. “Millennials” are often linked to narcissism or the egocentric trait. This can easily be concluded from the confidence, high expectations and haughty attitude they display. They grew up being told that they are special or better than others. Eventually, when they are around 14 years old, they will reach maturity. Even though they don't always succeed in pursuing or starting something new, some of them are highly motivated and persistent. An example of one of the successful millennials is Mark Zuckerbergs. The well-known inventor of Facebook has demonstrated exceptional quality of generation Y. However, not everyone is as lucky as Zuckerberg's. They lost the war against failure. They saved themselves from what they thought was a brilliant idea that later turned into a crazy idea after they were hit by garbage. They no longer believe in their originality and lose encouragement in trying to achieve their goal. Once they lose their determination, this could lead to unfavorable effects. This “Generation Me” grew up pompous unlike the baby boomers and older generations who put their family's needs before them. Therefore, losing self-confidence may be able to end one's career unlike older generations who will persevere in making their family.
