The extensive fossil record can easily be explained by taking the Flood into account.1 The Bible says very little about the world before the Flood. The Scriptures show that although there were many differences in the world before the flood, there were things in common with the one we live in today. The flood drastically changed the world such that the Bible even divides between the two, calling one the world then and the other the world now. The world has changed so drastically not only because of the catastrophic flood, but also because of the volcanic activity that followed and one or more ice ages, which may have occurred although they would have been much shorter than believed the secular world. 2 The flood was worldwide, not just a local event, the fossil finds testify to this, as well as many animals buried quickly in full cemeteries, the rapid deposition of sediments and the rapid deposition of layers, all this and much more points towards a 'catastrophic global flood. Fossilization does not occur extensively today, when things die they tend to decompose quickly, however, there is an abundance of preserved fossil parts of carbon, trace fossils and forms of fossil preservation. Each of these must have formed rapidly excluding their accumulation over time. Many evidences and effects of the Flood persist in the world today, even though today's world is very different from the antediluvian world. The evidence of creation is also everywhere if man is willing to open his eyes and see it. God's creation declares its glory even in its present imperfection
