“The important thing is not to stop asking questions. Curiosity has its own reason to exist." This quote from Albert Einstein best describes my life. The curious nature I possess has helped me improve my knowledge. A person curious enough to dig deep is always the one who achieves success. I would describe myself as someone who asks these understandable questions to overcome my bigger self. Throughout my teenage years in high school, I was praised as a person who was highly skilled at writing programs in computer languages. I am proud of my ability to break the barriers that differentiate the languages used in the world today such as C, C++ and Java. Ever since I was introduced to the world of computer programming, I could see the smallest similarities between languages and could translate almost any program from one to the other. My amazing skill in writing algorithms helped me work for a project titled “Hotel Management using C++” during the “Insight 2009” event conducted by Tata Consultancy Services. After the project, I wanted to extend my field of expertise beyond the world of programming. I could sense that my programming expertise was not enough to satisfy my hunger to learn more and that my passion had always been electronics. I learned ways that programming could be used in electronics-related concepts, such as microprocessors and embedded systems. I then decided to pursue a career that would make the most of my programming skills and at the same time improve my knowledge in the field of electronics. This decision pushed me to choose "Electronic and Communications Engineering" as the main field of study for my undergraduate degree. I joined Panimalar Engineerin... in the middle of paper... ice, I want to have a role in the project. I believe that the facilities and opportunities offered by your institute will be a stepping stone to a successful career for an aspiring researcher like me. These factors have convinced me that the University of Texas at Dallas will offer me a bright and fruitful professional career. With a lot of hard work comes promising success. With this statement in mind, I have systematically planned my future and am working towards a successful professional career after my university study. In the long term, I aspire to not only contribute, but also play a key role in designing automation in robotics. I believe that the graduate program at your esteemed institution will help me move to the next level of thinking, bringing me closer to my dreams. Finally, I would like to humbly thank you for taking the time to review my application.
