Implementation of CRP at Wxxxx Oncology Clinic is an important step in addressing the unmet needs of informal healthcare providers. Based on data obtained from patient satisfaction surveys and input from clinical staff, caregiver care is an important issue that needs to be addressed. The literature reviewed detailed various intervention recommendations and provided substantial evidence for the importance of caregiver care. The fact is that caregivers provide an extraordinary service to their loved ones and the healthcare organization when they are asked to fulfill the role of primary caregiver. . Caregivers should be protected from physical and emotional distress through interventions that offer support and education. Interventions aimed at supporting the caregiver as a direct recipient of care improve the caregiver's confidence and competence, resulting in better patient care, thus reducing the caregiver's stress level and improving his or her sense of control (Given, Given, & Sherwood, 2012; Belgacem, et al., 2013 ; & Boele, et al., 2013). The literature reviewed in this article has highlighted the importance of caregiver care. Although interventions and outcomes are varied, multicomponent interventions such as the CRP program discussed have been shown to have the best outcomes (Ducharme, 2014). Implementation of psychoeducational interventions for caregivers of newly diagnosed cancer patients has positively influenced caregivers' quality of life (Chambers et al., 2014). Implementing piloted CRP in the oncology setting will allow the program to be tested and modified as needed to provide the best care for patients and their caregivers, while respecting the values ​​and preferences they hold. .....h the use of American Red Cross volunteers and the coordination of training of superusers of units in each area of ​​the hospital which may be managed by the organization's staff education and training department. The literature review detailed the importance and responsibilities that the informal caregiver has in the care of the cancer patient. Given all the data, the competence and needs of the informal caregiver should be carefully assessed and further addressed. Often, nursing and medical staff are unaware of patient and caregiver needs, and patients are unfamiliar with available support services. The introduction of the CRP is a valuable step in recognizing these issues, while offering a plan to help reduce the stress and burden that healthcare workers face, while focusing on providing the best available patient care..
