Isuzu Australia Limited has been selling Isuzu trucks for around a quarter of a century. The company promised to provide premium products from the Australian market and has been successful so far. The company vision, according to (Isuzu Australia Limited, 2010), “To be Australia's No. 1 truck company with a dedication to best-in-class environmental practices and an unrivaled focus on customer service” (para. 3). In the company's early days, all information was distributed manually and it was an expensive and time-consuming operation. Nowadays, the company uses a WebSphere portal, which is inexpensive and saves employee time. The web portal is considered a groupware or collaboration system and there are some challenges in implementing this method within the company. We will also discuss the difference between dashboards and scorecards, how Isuzu Australia can use them. There are some challenges when it comes to implementing groupware in an enterprise. Social organization is one of the problems that arise when talking about human interaction and calendar systems. When companies, like Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL), want to lecture about their products from a global perspective; collaboration is supported by sharing or viewing other people's calendars. This may seem like a simple task for businesses to complete successfully, but problems will arise if individuals in the organization make mistakes in the calendar information. According to (Palen, 1999), individuals' calendar information is accessible for reading to other users by default (an “open” GCS model).
