Introversion is most likely to negatively influence SLA. Students who are afraid of embarrassing themselves by speaking incorrectly or not being able to speak may try to avoid opportunities that would otherwise aid their learning (Zhang, 2008). Since the 1960s, personality has emerged as the major field of specialization among doctoral students. (Vance and Macphail, 1964). There have been many investigations followed by the literature on a variety of personality theories. The importance of individual differences and the peculiarities of the individual are the most frequent characteristics of the study of personality. There is a guarantee that each person's profile is different from that of another person and therefore each person has a unique personality (Allport & Odbert, 1936). However, the question is: how do we determine personality? In general, the simplest approach to doing this has been through observation of individual differences.
