When confronted and asked to leave, the boys said they had nowhere else to go. How could Baca simply turn his back on these kids, when in reality he was one of them, homeless and without a purpose. To help the kids, he organizes a makeshift home in a local church and for the moment gives the kids a few nights away from the streets. Since then Baca has created many workshops with young people in difficulty to try to help them change their lives. The fact that Baca was a troubled teenager helps because he can relate to kids more, because he understands their problems and what they struggle with in everyday life.
