Topic > The benefits of producing and consuming organic food

There are many reasons why organic farming techniques are becoming all the rage, but the most important reasons have to do with preserving people's health, animal health and the health of the earth. Organic farmers are as adept at using biological and mechanical insect controls as conventional farmers are at spraying chemicals. The argument begins because there is no denying that ingesting chemicals is harmful to people. Feeding a baby non-organic apple juice might be like putting Windex in a sippy cup. The word organic refers to a natural method of growing that produces food without the use of artificial pesticides, chemicals or hormones, relying on soil organisms, insects and birds to keep the insects under control. If society is serious about eating healthier, there seems to be an opportunity to change things. Although the government regulates pesticides in foods in conventional farming, to a greater extent, organic farming benefits a person's health because the food one eats impacts one's mental state and well-being, and the ingestion of chemicals It's not healthy. A cultural shift to organic is critical to human and environmental benefits for three reasons. First of all, a person's physical condition depends on the consumption of high-quality foods. Organic foods contain no artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or pesticides, making them a good choice for building a fit body. The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that 60% of herbicides, 90% of fungicides, and 30% of pesticides, all chemicals used in conventional agriculture, cause cancer (“Top 10 Reasons…”). The bottom line is that these chemicals are poisons designed to kill living organisms and can harm humans.
