Deer hunting can be bad even though everyone knows it. It hurts the population that there aren't many deer around anymore. The fact is, more deer are injured than killed. A study of 80 radio-collared white-tailed deer found that of 22 deer that were shot with archery equipment, 11 were injured and were not recovered by hunters. There are a few studies I want to talk about first. A biologist with the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks estimates that more than 3 million injured ducks go unrescued each year. More than 3 million ducks are crazy and could defiantly feed more than 10 families and now look, they are lying on the ground and suffering. Here's another study I'd like to talk about: A British study on deer hunting found that 11 percent of deer killed by hunters died only after being shot two or more times, and that some wounded deer suffered for more than 15 minutes before dying. Suffering, do you think they should suffer? And if you were to suffer, it would be a long but slow process where you just have to lie down and die. Just a little less than a thousand...
