Having a job where there is great communication and leadership makes everything easier when you work. It brings structure to the workplace similar to any team sport played by athletes. When I was working, I realized that being a team person and encouraging others around me helped my colleagues relax more and not overthink certain situations. I realized that some people needed leadership to turn to when a situation arose and me, being an athlete and also a leader, everyone came to me with concerns or just telling me something that was going on in their life. Athletes in the workplace are an interesting topic because success is important to everyone and if you have a team full of leaders who want to improve everything around them, then you can see companies striving for a better environment in which they work. I learned a lot about this topic because most people believe that athletes are not capable of handling a job and being able to lead a team. I encourage anyone who hasn't played a team sport to get out and try a sport, then come back to work and see how your outlook on teamwork changes. Workplace athletes are great
