Surah Luqman, chapter 31 of the Quran, is truly one of the great Surahs to draw lessons from. It is named after a wise man who was not a prophet, but who was granted great wisdom by Allah (swt) and was greatly loved by Allah (swt). Allah says of Luqman "And We certainly gave wisdom to Luqman, saying: Be grateful to Allah. And whoever is grateful, is grateful only for his own soul; and whoever is ungrateful, then surely Allah is self-sufficient, praised. " . Below I will explain some of the lessons contained in this surah. The first lesson to be learned in this surah is not to associate partners with Allah (swt). “And (remember) when Luqmân said to his son when he was advising him: “O my son! Do not join in worshiping others with Allah. Verily! Joining others in worshiping with Allah is indeed a great Zûlm (wrong) ".
