Throughout history, civilizations have declared wars for many reasons such as valuables, land, resources and most importantly desires. The desire for war is generally caused by human nature and therefore humanity has a great propensity to do according to its desires and make other people agree with its desires and preferences. I will discuss why some people agree or disagree with the above statement, as well as give my opinion. Some people would agree with the statement because everyone will always have different personal beliefs and desires. A person will always believe they are right in what they think, there will always be that person who just doesn't want to believe they could be wrong, so it is in our nature to argue about things like: race, religion, land, resources and wealth. This means that the war will continue because people have their own beliefs and desires and want to support them. In some cases, people create wars just to prove a point, which creates even more war and violence. For example, James 4:1-2 (Jerusalem Bible) says: 'Where do these wars and battles begin among you? Isn't it really in the desires that fight inside you? You want something and you didn't get it; so you are ready to kill. You have an ambition that you cannot satisfy, so you fight to get what you want by force.' This means that the causes of war are selfishness and pride and therefore people clash; they want greed, power, resources and wealth. For example, whenever there is a battle between two nations or two businesses, someone shows selfishness or pride. As a result, this causes wars and conflicts. Furthermore, war is like a process, it continues and will always continue until the process stops, if ever for some... middle of paper... you are still wars between countries fighting for resources and power and countries who seek to conquer foreign lands. Not only that, but people will want to fight for freedom and in today's society there will also be terrorism. There are also countries fighting against each other, which is useless, for example, the Syrian conflict continues to this day, and although there have been peace talks to resolve the war peacefully, it still continues. So, there will always be inevitable wars because war is caused for many reasons such as resources, wealth, power, land and negative feelings for a person or a group of people while a person might be able to control their responses to these. feelings, it is highly unlikely that any person can control such responses. Therefore war will always happen, even in a peaceful society. War changes. Not the war.
