Only then did I realize that I had the ability to be more than just a representative. The team leaders and managers who encouraged me to take the job obviously saw something in me that I couldn't see on my own. I ultimately turned down that job simply because I didn't feel ready for such responsibilities. Instead, I decided to pursue a degree in Human Resource Management. The courses related to my major so far have taught me very important things about myself and have identified areas and skills that can be improved
