Our attitudes towards GMO foods range from hostility to indifference. GMO foods, such as pesticide-resistant Roundup Ready soybeans and fast-growing salmon, appear to exist primarily to line corporate pockets. Most people are unaware that they are eating GMO foods. Most of the population only looks at the price rather than the content of the food product. This technology has the potential to provide sustainable, nutrient-rich food sources over centuries if the science is not abused to benefit the food industry.
