Global warming is the term used to indicate an unambiguous and continuous increase in the average temperature of the Earth's climate system. Since 1971, 53% of the US population considers global warming to be a serious concern. I'm with the 47% of people who don't see global warming as a concern. Lots of companies are "going green" and my theory is that they're just doing it for the money. I think it's just a scam. There is no such evidence that global warming was caused by human activities. I believe that global warming is simply the Earth going through a cycle and that it is not a concern or created by human activities. Scientists have performed many tests to understand what is causing the Earth's temperature to rise. Greenhouse gases are believed to be the cause of the increase in Earth's temperature. The greenhouse effect is the process of absorption and emission of infrared radiation by gases in a planet's atmosphere, heat in its lower atmosphere and surface. Scientists have found that the main greenhouse gases are water vapor, which causes about 36-70% of the greenhouse effect; carbon dioxide, which causes 9-26%; methane, which causes 4-9%; and ozone which causes 3-7%. Scientists say human activity since the industrial revolution has increased the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, leading to increases in ozone, CFCs and nitrous oxide. In 2007, according to published work, concentrations of carbon dioxide and methane have increased by 36% and 148% respectively since 1750. Over the past three decades, GDP per capita and population growth have been the main drivers of the increase of greenhouse gas emissions. The theory that makes the most logical sense to me is that the Earth's climate system is responding to changes... middle of paper... that they are "going green", but in reality they are simply being scammed into purchasing something at a higher price high so that the company can earn more. Considering that people have become naive to the fears of global warming, companies can put green or “go green” in their products and people will automatically buy their products, thinking that they are helping to stop global warming. I believe global warming is just the earth going through a cycle and that is not a concern or created by human activities. Many scientists believe and have convinced people around the world that global warming is caused by the release of carbon dioxide and harmful fossil fuels created by human activities. The same theory has convinced many people to be scammed by companies that are "going green." In my opinion, the external forcing theory seems to be the most logical.
