All these three factors will help me improve my physical health. Implementing a healthy diet will help me maintain normal weight. Eating healthy food does not mean depriving yourself of food. Eat healthy foods such as fresh vegetables, fruits, low sugar and fat diet, drink plenty of water and cook home-cooked meals. When I started nursing school, I saw myself eating a lot of junk food on the street because of the time it took to cook healthy homemade food. Studies reveal that traditional college students often engage in risky health behaviors such as physical inactivity, unhealthy diet, smoking, and other negative health practices, which can have long-term consequences on their health (Bryes et al, 2013) . Eating processed foods can lead to diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, stroke, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease and cancer. Challenges to choosing a healthy lifestyle may include greater accessibility and lower price of processed foods and fast foods (higher fat and calories) rather than fresh, unprocessed, healthier foods (Gabel Speroni, 2014). I'm planning to eat more home-cooked meals that have the full nutritional needs. Changing my eating habits will help me reduce the risks of contracting these diseases. Additionally, drinking lots of water a day will help flush waste products and toxins from my system. Also, between college
