I love admirable, heroic characters because seeing them do the right thing almost always leads to a happy ending. I know it's cheesy, but I love happy endings and live for the romance shown in TV shows and movies. While I love sappy love scenes, I also love characters with hidden personalities. I really like evil characters who eventually break down their walls and transform. Seeing the connection between two characters that ultimately brings their true personalities out into the open is something that makes for a great movie.
