One factor is the increase in technology. Children play video games on television or on portable devices instead of going out and playing with neighbors. Play is also decreasing because of the environment in which children grow up. Some places are too dangerous to go out and play, which is very sad. Parents are also becoming too worried about safety. Parents don't allow their children to learn from mistakes so they can grow up and become tougher. All of these factors limit your child's play opportunities and something should be done about them
