The truth is that college is on another level and is different from high school in several ways. Things will get harder and harder, but that is only true if the person doesn't finish what they need to do. For me, I had to learn to be an adult and be responsible for all the actions and decisions I make. I had to learn to manage my time and make school a priority. Deciding what I wanted to do after high school wasn't part of that experience because I didn't feel like the classes I was taking weren't motivating me to go to college. Ultimately, all these reasons made me react alarmingly and it was a wake-up call to reality when I entered college.
