Topic > SECOND LANGUAGE ACQUISITION FOR STUDENTS. - 1104

The teaching and acquisition of second foreign languages are necessary to have different knowledge regarding different ways or methodologies. As is known initially people have (L1.) their mother tongue after birth. We learn through the mode of audition and this acquisition begins with motherhood and childhood. Native speaking students learn the main rules and patterns that is the L1. Therefore, second language acquisition becomes impalpable. Most educators are tired of solving this problem with different types of TS-based program approaches and applications. Furthermore, a number of researchers begin to research and propose various approaches. Over time, some of these approaches have been applied. At the same time, each proposed approach is destroyed compared to the previous application. Nowadays, many students studying for second language acquisition teaching learn different types of methodologies. These methodologies support effective acquisition. So a number of teachers and students benefit from these methods. This year we were one of them. We see that many of them, for example, terminologies and methodologies based on different periods of history. The title of our conference is Foreign Language Teaching Methods. In short these methodologies are the Grammatical Translation Method (GTM), the Direct Method (DM), the Audio-Language Method (ALM), the Silent Way (SW), Suggestopedia, Communicative Language Learning and Community Language . Learning, lexical approach, comparative learning, content-based learning, task-based learning and past method. There are many approaches and methods for teaching and learning a foreign language effectively. Each approach includes a truth value but a wrong value or at that moment considered...... middle of paper ......c cognitive communicative cultural and linguistic awareness is effective. Unfortunately in our country the post-method effects are only seen in private schools. I graduated from a public school and didn't see this type of curriculum until college. In conclusion, language learning has a vast area and hosts many methodologies and approaches. These types of approaches demonstrate tremendous support for effective teaching and learning. Each approach has shortcomings. Especially the pre-methods approach such as grammar translation and silent methods. The important issue is that the teacher is aware of the differences between these methods. In the past or modern time they are not the same, but the teacher should establish a relationship between them. All methods or approaches should be known, but the most appropriate method/approaches should be chosen to cultivate effective language learners.
