Global warming is a very controversial term known throughout the world. Global warming is “the recent increase in world temperature believed to be caused by increases in certain gases (such as carbon dioxide) in the atmosphere. (Merriam-Webster).” We've all heard the term climate change and/or global warming, but is it really happening or is it a hoax? The phrases global warming and climate change are used by different people and used differently. Global warming is used scientifically by people and is usually understood as a bad thing, that the earth is changing for the worse. In contrast, climate change is largely used by the hoax belief. They use it in the way that the Earth is experiencing a change which is normal because the climate will change year after year and will always change. Every day people who have no research behind their claims are the ones who think it's a hoax. The average person cannot gather enough reliable information to say with certainty what is correct or not. They listen to politicians or church groups they believe in, but even members of those groups don't know all the facts. The people who believe in global warming are scientists or those who hold very powerful positions in our world. Scientists use evidence to support their case and to show others why they should believe it. Global warming applies to everyone living in our world. Global warming is something that doesn't just affect a certain race or gender, but affects everyone. We are all helping or hurting him, whether we know it or not. People who believe in global warming say that everyone has connected emotions to it and it is quite relatable to humans. Global warming is known throughout the world and impacts everyone. Greenhouse gases have had a very large impact on our Earth, which is negative and is one of the causes of global warming. There is proven evidence of global warming, including rising sea levels, warming oceans, shrinking ice sheets, and rising global temperatures. The best solution right now to prevent the worst effects of global warming is to switch to alternative energy. The best solution would be to switch to wind energy. Believe it or not, keep in mind what's best for the Earth.
