Homeless Teenagers is a very serious issue that is happening in this world, teenagers don't eat well or have no place to live and they are completely alone. homelessness is a problem that can be solved. With approximately 300,000 people across the United States without a safe place to call home and an annual price tag exceeding $2 billion, governments can no longer afford not to invest in a lasting solution to this country's housing crisis. Poverty and homelessness are a global problem that especially affects adolescents. Family conflict is the most common cause of all youth homelessness. For gay and transgender youth, the conflict tends to be over their sexual orientation or gender identity, and the results aren't pretty: Half of all teens receive a negative reaction from their parents when they come out to them. More than 1 in 4 are kicked out of their homes. These teenagers have no one to protect them and do not have much food to eat and will end up dying at an early age. In the United States there are numerous suicides of adolescents who do not survive even two years of poverty. Most teenagers living in poverty end up starving or freezing to death because they have no shelter or money. Nowadays, teens simply can't get a job because they're asking for a diploma or a GED, and teens can't afford to pay for a GED without a job. Furthermore, most poor teenagers end up giving up and dropping out of school because they believe it is just a waste of time. So there is no chance that they will get a diploma anytime soon. The poverty rate for people aged 18 and under increases more and more with each passing year. People assume that generations to come won't appreciate what they have and will take advantage of it... middle of paper... Teenagers should just go to school and do the right thing. I understand that it's not their fault that they end up in poverty, but they should do their best to get out of it. They may be born into poverty because their family is so poor, but be grateful for what you can achieve and that people who talk down to homeless teenagers should at least try to help them have a better life. Teenagers just have to push through and hope for the best and pray that things don't get worse because I know people in this world don't care and won't bother to help. But at least try to give them a better future. For these teenagers, a better future is a life out of poverty. These teenagers just need one important person in their life to really help them get through life. There are many homeless teenagers and if we all help and contribute to helping them we can reduce the number.
