Today you could say that Internet users are at more risk than ever before. With our advanced technologies and ever-evolving Internet social culture, it has become increasingly easier for this concept we rely on so much to be used not only for exploitation but also for criminal purposes. When we discuss aspects of Internet security, there are so many areas that could be studied. Being a regular IT user and an industry I'm fluent in, I have a pretty strong opinion on which areas of Internet security I think are most concerning. “Cyberbullying” involves the use of information and communications technologies such as email. -email, cell phone text messages, instant messaging, defamatory personal websites and personal social networking sites to support deliberate, repeated and hostile behavior by an individual or group, aimed at harming a particular person. It is widely regarded as one of the most prevalent youth threats on the Internet. A rather alarming survey of 1500 young people aged 16 to 24 conducted in September 2009 by AP-MTV found that (Pure Site, 2011) "50% of young people in this age group have experienced digital abusive behaviour, with older teens aged 18-24 (52% vs. 47%) and women more likely to be targeted (53% vs. 42%). or two earlier the results would not have been so worrying.
