Life as we know it began when the Creator revealed himself in Genesis 1. But today, centuries later, our world is slowly falling apart. What was once this perfect, sinless life leaves us all experiencing loss, dealing with pain, tragedy, or disappointment that is difficult to handle on our own. Or more devastating things like earthquakes, flash floods, tornadoes, and a major pandemic. These are just some of the things happening to us today around the world. And, as sad as all of this is, I don't think this even compares to how much tribulation there actually is in the world today. How is it possible that our world has drifted so far apart? When you believe the Bible to be entirely true, then you allow it to be the foundation of everything you say and do.” The story of Jesus as a worldview is simple, we can look at his most powerful teachings and learn through his examples. We can remember Jesus through some of the stories or so-called parables when we refer to making good choices, choosing the right relationships, and treating others as Christ would. Get an Original Essay We all make choices every day, some might be minor, like what to eat for breakfast or maybe what to wear for the day. Some choices are important and may require much thought and perhaps even prayer. In the Bible, we remember Matthew's story of Jesus telling us to make a wise choice of the path we follow in this life. Notice, he only gives two choices, the broad way that leads to destruction and hell, or the narrow way that leads to heaven. I think the reason it's easy for people to decide between one broad path and another is because it has no rules. This is the path where people believe they can do what they want and live how they want. The second way, which is the narrow way, does not allow people to bring in souls that may not yet be forgiven. Active Christianity says, “It means we must leave behind everything, such as relationships that hold us back, status, honor, and pride” (Active Christianity, 3). In John 14:6, Jesus reminds us “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6, ESV). Here we are reminded that there is only one way, one path, one truth, and one life that leads to God and that our choices can determine where our life will end. Jesus demonstrated in many Bible stories how important relationships are to him. . He showed the importance of every relationship in what he said and how he lived his life. In the parable of the prodigal son, we remember a man who had two sons, one of whom, after receiving his inheritance, set out alone “to live a good life.” Not long after, we know he ended up paying the price and losing everything he had. Remember, even after his son left home, his father never stopped loving him. Eventually, the son returned and the father forgave his son for all the trouble he had caused. Throughout this story, God has demonstrated the same kind of love he has for us. Even though we sometimes begin to drift away, God never stops showing his infinite love for us. Despite all the problems we may cause, he remains with his arms wide open to welcome us as his own. God created us to have very close but personal relationships with Him and everyone else. He gave two great commandments for everyone to follow, the first is to love God with our whole being and the second commandment.
