The global food crisis has an impact on the material, social and physical environment of our health. The answer question was; About 60% of processed foods sold in Canada contain genetically modified (GMO) ingredients and are not labeled as GMO foods. I believe this is true because my family is very pro-non-GMO foods and all we buy are foods with labels that say they are non-GMO; most products do not indicate that they are GMO. This theme matches what we talked about in class as we discussed traditional diets and whether we could eliminate animals from our diet. This narrative analysis will be written from the interviewee's point of view. It will be short and tell the story of your life. The data obtained is the interview. The data collection procedure followed was to interview a person who is related to the healthcare system and has access to food in Toronto. The first step is to schedule an interview with a person who I believe is related to the topic of the global food crisis. The second step is finding the right questions to ask the interviewee. Once you complete these steps, you can move on to the third step, which is the interview. The fourth step is to collect the answers from the interview. The fifth and final step is to turn the interview responses into data. Here is how the data procedure follows. The person interviewed is a cancer survivor and mother of two children. The topic of the interview is about how GMOs (genetically modified ingredients) have affected his life. The interviewee started learning about GMO foods a couple of years ago. She always tried to buy organic and “clean” food for her children. She thought that if she ate truly healthy and all she bought were non-GMO foods, she or her family would not have illnesses or diseases. Obviously it was false.
