Imagine seeing dinosaurs or other extinct animals roaming the world. Instead of going to museums to see immobile statues, see them alive and well! While this may be a bizarre concept, scientists have found a way to clone and create animals simply by having a single strand or data of DNA. For example, if they find a lock of hair from a woolly mammoth, scientists can actually create the creature. Cloning should be legalized because it can be used for many auspicious purposes, from medical research, to the restoration of endangered species, to the cloning of embryonic stem cells for medical uses, to the cloning of animals that contain meat for food, and to the cloning human body parts for people in case they have problems in those areas. Endangered species can be cloned to bring their populations back. According to Jose Jaramillo, a scientist at the University of Texas, “cloning could be one of the most providential tools for saving endangered species (Jaramillo)”. In July 1998, three scientists from the University of Hawaii had successfully cloned fifty mice since October 1997....
