As stated several times; Psalm 139:13-16 talks about God's active role in creation and formation in the womb, so it states that God creates all fetuses/people for a certain reason and this means that God does not want abortion otherwise why would He create them. Exodus 21:22-25, prescribes the same penalty, death, for someone who causes the death of a child in the womb as for someone who commits murder, this clearly indicates that God therefore considers a fetus/child in the mother's womb as if it were the same as a grown adult, this then means that God indicates that abortion is wrong. Christians' beliefs about abortion are not a question of a woman's right to choose, it is a question of the life or death of a human being made in the image of God, Genesis 1:26-27, 9:6. The first argument that fights against the Christian position on abortion is “What about cases of rape and/or incest?” two wrongs don't make a right. The child born from rape/incest may be given up for adoption to a loving family and will not be able to have children on their own. The child is innocent so he should not be punished for his father's acts. The Roman Catholic Church states that abortion is a grave moral wrong. According to the written word of God and natural law, as they prohibit abortion under all circumstances, “You shall not kill the embryo by abortion, nor cause the newborn to perish.” AS
