The common law evolved over time as a judge's mad law according to previous doctrine. In common law the king was the head of government. Common law was the law administered by royal courts, and a more standardized set of rules based on customary law was gradually applied throughout England and in countries derived from England. for example Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States. The rules of common law were too rigid to manage a complex society like England. originally people had to turn to the king for justice. The king and his council listened to the request and in many cases changed the decision made by the common law courts. I was asked to write a report on the development of common law and equity. Common law refers to law created by judges that was historically significant but has since been superseded by parliament.
