Speaking from experience, many upper class men usually target lower class men. They act this way because they essentially think and most likely know that incoming students are unfamiliar with the ways of campus. They use this weakness as an advantage and try to take as many lower class men under their wings as possible. This makes the lower class men feel as if they are being led in the right direction and as if they are truly being helped. However, as soon as the time is right and the lower class students are under the influence, the upper class students take advantage of this and seduce the incoming student into doing something they are not comfortable with.
