When she was 15, she fell in love with a boy, who spilled drink on her during a party. “I'm so sorry… my name is Zand by the way,” he said. "Oh wow, everything's fine... and I'm Lola," she replied. “What a pleasure to meet you, to see you around” he said and we stared at each other for a while and then continued. Lola was a sophomore in high school, and she had already experienced so much emotional trauma in her first two years that she thought she would never have to face. It was less like Jay Z when he says "I got 99 problems, but a bitch ain't one" and more like Kid Cudi when he says "I got 99 problems, and they're all assholes." Until she met Zand, she was going through something with another boy that she never thought she could get over. This guy's name was Taylor and he was a true artist when it came to manipulating girls. Plagued by parental problems, he was insensitive to feelings. So even though he made me feel like he cared about her, he knew he couldn't because he didn't know how. Although she still loved him, when she met Zand, there was an immediate connection between them. His best friend tried to get them to meet that same night at the party. She didn't know much about him and was nervous, so she didn't. She immediately regretted her decision, because she thought she would never see him again. Lola attended preparatory school, the school Zand attended before moving on to another private school. Even though she thought she would never see him again, she told her best friend Jen about him. Jen was of medium height, brown hair and eyes, not too special at first glance, she seemed awkward and very careful to maintain her shape which was a perfect, little hourglass figure. He seems wise, as well as weighing about twenty... half of the paper... towards his other roommates for knowing how she felt about him, but not for trying to stop what was going to happen. He went to the balcony and felt the drizzle, the tears of the earth on his skin. It was as if Mother Nature was projecting everything she had experienced onto the earth. They returned home from break a few days later. It was April and time to go back to school. Lola was sick and felt like garbage, but she left anyway. He arrived in the dining room and sat down with his group of friends. “Did you know she had sex with him??? Yes, I've heard it several times. Someone told me they did the deed but I'm not sure. It's so rude. I thought he knew you loved him since the end of ninth grade. What kind of friend does that?" Gabby said. She continued talking about the topic while Lola asked herself the same questions Gabby asked her. But she already knew the answer.
