“My dearest partner of greatness” (I, v, 10) suggests to the reader or audience of the play Macbeth, that these two partners, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth , they worked together and truly believed in the greatness of their work. It's not like that. Said here in a letter from Macbeth to Lady Macbeth telling her that the king is coming soon. There Macbeth truly feels that Lady Macbeth is his companion in all these great events. The letter shows us the close relationship between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth and shows us that the deepest secrets of the heart are revealed to each other. It is from this point that we encounter Lady Macbeth's true character. She immediately shows herself as a domineering, strong-willed, and ambitious wife to Macbeth. As the play progresses we see that his wife easily persuades Macbeth, but when Macbeth is alone he has his doubts. Macbeth is less ambitious than his wife and also more tender, together these two traits gave him the good sense not to commit the feared act. However, when the topic of Duncan's murder comes up again, Lady Macbeth weakens his resolve and convinces him to carry out the deed. The actor's characters begin to change once the deed is done. Macbeth, who was strong inside, is now traumatized internally, but only shows his feelings in front of his wife. This is not the best thing to do because Lady Macbeth is not interested in what she sees as his meanness. It also gives Lady Macbeth the added stress that Macbeth doesn't let his thoughts and imagination get the better of him in front of other people. However, she must also portray the tender heart expected of a woman when she is confronted with Duncan's death, the day after the murder, in front of the other men in the court. Lady Macbeth, in a way is... at the center of the card... the true king without a fight. He is a great man, who falls. The tenderness in his heart has disappeared, now there is only the stone. The death of his wife does not move him and he knows he is defeated. Macbeth's character has changed from a brave warrior, loyal to the king with a hidden ambition to become great in the eyes of the world. Lady Macbeth had the ambition of becoming its head, the top through her husband. There is no feminist softness in her. Now the roles have almost reversed. Macbeth only wants his life safe and uses violence to achieve this goal. He is a tough man whose heart will not break at the cry of a tormented child. Lady Macbeth is a mere creature of the powerful woman she was. She is useless and traumatized by herself. Both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth ruined their lives and opportunities with one foolish act. In the end they both regret it.
