Stumbling into her apartment, Riley's head throbbed from constant complaining, naughty kids, and outrageous schedules. He dragged himself to the toilet only to find that he was out of Advil, slamming the locker door, and checked the time on his wristwatch. “Great, looks like I'm getting takeout again,” he sighed. "Because I need to meditate." Walking into the bedroom she took off her shoes and felt her toes sink into the shaggy carpet. Riley headed straight to her closet to change into more comfortable clothes; remembering the reports of a voyeur in the area. Coming out of the closet, he takes a box of matches and a candle to aid in his meditation. Dropping to the floor Indian style, Riley places the candle in front of her, then strikes a match to light the candle's wick and subconsciously evens out her breathing. Gaze at the candle with a calm mind. His body begins to flex as he sinks deeper, then he tenses feeling all the negativity from the day boiling up ready to be released. Closing his eyes he breathes more heavily, also expelling the bubbling cauldron of emotions. Riley keeps her eyes closed as she dives deeper, using a technique taught by her old yoga teacher. She drifts wistfully along the river of thoughts in her mind letting them guide her. The sound of water being disturbed falls on deaf ears as an elevator rises from the water, opening its doors just in time for Riley to hit them. They close softly as the water moves around its shape, preventing it from banging against the walls. Opening her eyes Riley sees the stained glass walls of the elevator and waits for them to fade away as usual. All the while his physical form remains immobile, except for instinctive goosebumps and hair slowly rising from a shimmering, shimmering dark gaze...half of paper......glass confinement; she was afraid that if she moved, her mother would, too, right next to the edge of the building. The water was now between chest and neck level. Eireann swayed back and forth on the balls of her feet with the wind cradling her, each sway causing her to slowly die. And then he fell. Riley began banging on the glass walls as her mother fell, repeatedly slamming into the walls and doors as they fell. it seemed to suffocate her. The elevator was completely filled with water now, but Riley remained oblivious until she saw her dyed brown hair floating around her. His eyes widened and he punched more ferociously to not only save his mother's life, but his own as well. Even though he was slamming the doors, his ID made sure there was a small thud and then Mrs. Sibaen's ear-splitting scream. At the sound of Mrs. Sibaen's scream, the glass elevator shattered; becoming one with the water.
