Perhaps one of the greatest discoveries of the Renaissance came from the idea of ​​the emergence of the individual, stating that everyone had an inner being separate from the inner life of everyone else. With the increasing prevalence of humanistic thought processes, the human theme of morality became even more important during the Renaissance. Morality was an important idea in that, since individual thinking had become a new norm, humans making their own decisions without consulting a higher power was a very pressing reason to make moral choices. Hamlet and David are both great examples of humanist thinkers, in questioning what is happening around them and coming forward with self-motivated reasons to change the situations they have found themselves in. One cannot mention the idea of ​​humanism during the Renaissance period without the mention of morality and how it played into the roles of society at this time. Individuals had turned to themselves and others for direction and guidance and turned away from the persistent need to gain authority from the church. There were no better examples of this extremely important movement than Hamlet and the statue of
