In both welfare issues, the government used extensive communications to raise public awareness of certain conditions. In this way, the media has assumed a significant role in both issues related to general well-being. Both health problems require a large number of human forces to provide better health service to HIV/TB infected patients. There are some common strategies to effectively implement on HIV and tuberculosis patients, such as multi-drug resistance therapy (MDR-TB). Antiretroviral treatment (ART) is a successful strategy among HIV and tuberculosis patients in India. Most patients benefited from antiretroviral treatment. Over the past 50 years, India has improved its healthcare system to treat infectious diseases, such as HIV and tuberculosis. Direct observation treatment (DOTS) has been successfully implemented in India for HIV and tuberculosis patients. To improve the direct observation treatment, the Government of India has taken some key steps.1. Sufficient human resources and funding2. Improved laboratory facilities for detection of all forms of HIV and tuberculosis and case detection through drug susceptibility testing (DST)3. Program monitoring
