Much of the course involved exploring how an artist's cultural context influenced their work which led to certain artistic movements in history. I found this course fascinating and inspiring as it improved my knowledge of the subject and gave me inspiration for my artwork. At the end of my senior year of school I received the art scholarship from the art department. I was given this award for my engaging interest in art and my positive attitude in class and among my classmates, which I was extremely honored by.
